A short introduction
I have worked in television, film, corporate, branded content, documentary and commercial as a Location Sound Recordist and a Camera Operator since 2000.
Initially operating as a sound editor for feature films, drama and comedy at one of London's leading post audio houses, Videosonics, then moving across into location sound recording, swapping the comfy studio, for capturing sound in the field. Working on TV series such as BBC's The One Show and Britain's Lost Masterpieces, ITV's Tricked, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Good Morning Britain and C4's The Inbetweeners. I have also shot sound on a huge number of broadcast commercials and digital content. Please see my CV link above for a recent credit list.
Since 2010 I have also been operating as a videographer, initially making my own films, then actively shooting on a range of different productions, from high profile fashion films and events, to music videos, factual documentary and digital branded content. I often shoot second camera on productions and being able to cross over comfortably from sound to camera is one of my distinctions from other sound or camera operators in the field. I am able to offer productions a different option should they wish to keep a crew contained to a smaller number.
Finally I work closely with the production company Mother Brown Films, based in South East London. Together we make documentary, music films, and branded content for charities and corporates. We produce, direct, and work with clients to make a film with meaning and purpose, entertaining enough to stand out from the crowd, and personal enough to convey the message you wish to share. Please do get in touch if you want any help with any or all of the above on your current project.
